At Wheelchair Vans of Florida - Orlando, we hold our Veterans in the highest regard. We will do all we can to ensure that our Nation’s heroes receive all the wheelchair van and adaptive equipment benefits they are entitled to.

Automobile Allowance

Veterans may be eligible for a one-time payment of $20,235.20 (to the authorized dealer) toward the purchase of a wheelchair van for those with certain service-connected disabilities.

Veterans may also be eligible for adaptive equipment that may include: power steering, power brakes, power windows, power seats, and equipment necessary to assist with transfer into and out of the vehicle. The VA may provide financial assistance in purchasing adaptive equipment more than once.

Prior VA approval is required before purchasing a wheelchair van or adaptive equipment.
